Let me start with the advantages:
1. Battery: I use a lot of phone calls, making and receiving at least 30 calls a day, checking WeChat about ten times a day, and surfing the Internet for more than an hour intermittently. I use fewer other applications. The battery can basically last for three days, at least two days. I am very satisfied with it, and this is also the primary reason for buying this phone.
2. Screen: It has a large screen, which is very comfortable for surfing the Internet and reading e-books. I think the resolution is sufficient. Maybe my eyes are not very sensitive, so I can't see any difference in screen clarity compared to iPhone 5s.
3. System: The usability is okay. All the functions that should be available are used. The fluency is also good. I feel it is very smooth. After ROOT, I deleted many system-provided programs. I remember that there were more than 90 built-in programs at the beginning, but now there are only 42 left. Basically, there are no more programs that can be deleted. If I delete them again, either the commonly used functions will be missing, or the computer may not be able to boot normally.
4. Appearance: I like the rounded shape very much, the pure white color is very comfortable to look at, the frame is very narrow, the upper and lower edges are also very small, and the screen-to-body ratio is high. I like it very much.
5. Signal: The signal is very good. My previous phone was the US version XT912 MAXX (also with a large battery, I pay great attention to the battery when buying a phone), and the signal is much worse than this one.
6. Heat: The heat generated is small. Maybe I only use small programs. Anyway, the phone has never overheated.
Now let’s talk about the disadvantages:
1. The screen is too large and sometimes inconvenient to hold.
2. The ring tone is relatively small and sometimes you can’t hear it outside. This may be a common problem among brand manufacturers.
The rest is pretty standard. I don't play mobile games and don't have high requirements for the CPU, so Huawei's own quad-core A9 is enough. CPUs like Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 pursue performance, but I pursue power saving, so I won't choose a mobile phone with Snapdragon 800 CPU. In fact, according to my requirements, Snapdragon 400 MATE2 is the most suitable for me. It's a pity that it is not sold in China, but Huawei's CPU seems to be very power-saving now, and I am very satisfied. If the Lenovo P780 has narrower borders and a telecom version, it will be my ideal mobile phone under the current technology.
In general, Huawei MATE2 is a very good mobile phone with excellent quality and workmanship, and it is cheaper than similar mobile phones. It is worth buying. Unfortunately, there is too much worship of foreign things in China. Many people buy the NOTE3 which costs 4,000 or 5,000 yuan, while Huawei MATE2 costs more than 2,000 yuan. Many people think it is not worth the price. I am short-sighted and cannot tell how big the difference is between the two mobile phones. It is estimated that the price of MATE2 will drop in the near future.
