At this year's Los Angeles International Auto Show, Lucid Motors finally officially unveiled its high-end electric sedan, which is said to have 1,000 horsepower. Unfortunately, both cars were sprayed with camouflage patterns, and the overall appearance could not be clearly reflected.

However, compared to fuel vehicles, since electric vehicles lack a more complex power system, Lucid Motors' prototype is much smaller than fuel vehicles of the same level. From the comparison pictures Lucid Motors released before with the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, this car is indeed much smaller, with a smaller length and height. However, Lucid Motors said that even though the exterior dimensions have been reduced, the trunk volume and passenger space can be comparable to these large luxury cars.

Although the true face of the car cannot be fully seen at the auto show, Lucid Motors CTO Peter Rawlinson shared a lot of ideas about electric vehicles. As one of the designers of Tesla Model S, Rawlinson firmly believes that electric vehicles are superior to traditional fuel vehicles and are the future development direction. In the automotive field, TV technology, carpooling, connectivity and autonomous driving can be said to be the most noteworthy development areas at present. With the progress of these two areas, now is also a very good time for Lucid Motors to develop.

Compared with current electric vehicles, Rawlinson said that the biggest breakthrough of Lucid Motors' models lies in the new circuit system, which can meet the requirements of long-term continuous use, fast charging, continuous charge and discharge cycles, and is more suitable for current driving habits.

When talking about the lack of electric vehicle infrastructure, Rawlinson said that the infrastructure will become more and more complete over time, especially in urban areas, where the construction speed of infrastructure will be very fast.

Finally, it is a bit regrettable that although it was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Lucid Motors did not announce the specific launch time of this model.
