Volvo recalls 74,000 vehicles in the US, including the S90

According to foreign media reports, Volvo will recall 74,000 vehicles in the United States due to safety belt hazards. When the car crashes, the seat belts cannot fully restrain the occupants.

Volvo spokesman Jim Nichols pointed out that the models involved in this recall are S60, S90, V60, XC60 and XC90. The hidden danger is caused by the connecting pin in the seat belt buckle, and the seat belt may not work fully in the event of a collision. So far, Volvo has not received any accident reports, and the recall is mainly for prevention.
Nichols said Volvo had issued a recall notice on October 28, stating that dealers must carefully inspect the vehicles before selling them. Volvo has completed the inspection of its inventory of vehicles.
Volvo owners can take their cars back to dealers for repairs, a process Nichols said shouldn't take too long, just a few minutes at most, and if necessary, the dealer will replace the defective part.
