Mastering five core technologies is the key According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, as of October this year, my country's electric vehicle sales reached nearly 1.5 million units, and there were nearly 200,000 public charging stations nationwide, ranking first in the world. At the same time, China is not only the world's largest electric vehicle market, but also the fastest growing one. In the next five years or so, with the improvement of battery energy density, the development of lightweight technology and the popularization of high-power DC fast charging technology, pure electric vehicles with a range of 500-600km, charging time shortened to 30 minutes or even less than 10 minutes, and prices close to HEV models are likely to become the mainstream of the market, and the entire market will usher in a period of explosive growth. Under this trend of the times, after years of accumulation, GAC Group has now mastered five key core technologies: batteries, motors, electronic controls, electromechanical coupling and system integration, and formed two major product series: plug-in and pure electric. It has successively launched a series of products including GA3S PHEV, GS4 PHEV and pure electric smart SUV GE3. In terms of specific products, as the only pure electric SUV model in China currently built on a pure electric dedicated platform, the GE3 has a comprehensive range of more than 310km and a maximum of 475km. Due to the use of Trumpchi's latest generation of lithium batteries and fast charging technology, it can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes. In addition, it is equipped with the world's leading permanent magnet synchronous motor, which can output a peak torque of 290N.m and a maximum power of 132Kw, and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 9.3 seconds. Intelligent networking is accelerating, and L4 autonomous driving cars will be on the road in 2019 GAC New Energy is not only accelerating the pace of replacing future cars with electric drive cores, but is also focused on building world-class intelligent pure electric vehicles. In terms of intelligence, GAC is the first automobile company in China to enter the field of driverless car research. At this Guangzhou Auto Show, GAC New Energy also revealed plans to launch a new generation of products with L4 level highly automated driving capabilities in 2019. At the same time, given the differences in relevant policies among countries, this product may first be launched in the US market. In addition, GAC is also the first company to independently develop in-vehicle mobile Internet T-BOX. With nearly 400,000 vehicles currently installed, it is also the company with the largest actual installation volume. Next year, GAC New Energy will also combine 5G technology to launch a new generation of in-vehicle Internet system to achieve seamless interconnection of multiple terminals. What is more noteworthy is that GAC New Energy will also focus on marketing services and smart travel in the future, focusing on building five core platforms including digital cockpit, TSP operation, car life, cloud platform and data application, as well as accelerating the layout of shared products.
