Following the example of Weibo and WeChat, you can now bring up topics when chatting: adding a hashtag can generate a topic

Weibo stipulates that the pound sign “#” is used to define topics. For example, in the body of a Weibo post “Today’s #weather# is really nice”, the “weather” will be parsed as a topic and a link to the topic will be automatically added.

Now WeChat follows Weibo, and you can add topics when chatting with friends. The gameplay is similar to Weibo.

Today, according to Sina Technology's actual test, when adding a # sign in a WeChat chat, the content will turn blue and you can click to enter the topic page.

It is worth noting that this feature seems to be still in the beta stage, and only some users can add topics during chat .

Before this, topic tags have been launched in Moments. When editing Moments, just long press on a blank space and a topic tag icon (#) will appear in the shortcut menu.

In addition, WeChat also followed QQ and added a "Teen Mode" . The "Teen Mode" launched by WeChat this time also prevents minors from becoming overly addicted by blocking entertainment functions such as "Official Accounts", "Search", "Mini Games", and "People Nearby".
