At the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show, Borgward brought the 2018 BX5 model, which is officially positioned as "Germany's sharp light luxury SUV" and priced between 159,800 yuan and 219,800 yuan.

In addition to the high-performance sports version BX5 28T GDI equipped with a new 2.0T engine, the 2018 Borgward BX5 also upgraded the 25T GDI model with configurations including a panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate, and night vision assistance. However, in terms of overall appearance design, the 2018 Borgward BX5 did not bring major changes.

It is worth mentioning that the Borgward brand booth at this Guangzhou Auto Show was set up opposite the British luxury SUV brand Land Rover. Of course, a large number of Land Rover models sold in China today have the "Chery" tail label, so for Borgward, which thinks it should be on an equal footing with BBA, it may also think that there is not much gap between itself and Land Rover.
