In addition to Tesla and other manufacturers who are truly working hard to promote the development of electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel vehicles have also become a new choice for many auto giants when deploying new energy products. Japanese automaker Toyota even recently announced a very crazy plan. It is understood that Toyota has planned to build a hydrogen fuel power station at the Port of Long Beach. The working principle of this power station is to extract hydrogen fuel from cow dung every day and generate at least 1.2 tons of hydrogen fuel and 2.35 megawatts of electricity. This innovative technology for extracting hydrogen and electricity from cow dung actually originated from the University of California, and has received support from relevant agencies including the U.S. Department of Energy and the California Air Resources Board. Because the raw material for producing hydrogen fuel comes from cow dung, the hydrogen fuel power station built by Toyota is a hydrogen fuel plant that operates 100% on renewable resources. In particular, in terms of the use of hydrogen fuel, it can not only power Toyota's own hydrogen fuel vehicles, but also provide energy for nearby port logistics. Although hydrogen is considered to be the most abundant and highest energy clean energy on Earth, Tesla and its founder Musk have always believed that hydrogen energy cannot effectively improve the environment and have constantly criticized Toyota's hydrogen fuel cells. The current mainstream manufacturing method of hydrogen fuel cells is to first convert hydrogen fuel into electricity, and then drive the motor to convert it into the driving power of the car. It is worth mentioning that at present, there are more than 30 hydrogen fuel stations in California, the United States, and most of them have received financial support from Toyota.
