360 Liu Peng: The future of large screens lies in becoming an extension of mobile phones

On September 22, at the "2017 China OTT Large Screen Marketing Leadership Summit" hosted by 360, Liu Peng, chief architect of 360 commercial products, delivered a wonderful speech. In his speech, he put forward the view that "the real future of large screens lies in becoming an extension of mobile phones" and made a detailed analysis and prediction of the current situation of OTT large screens and mobile phones.

Although 360 has not yet developed a product that is well known to the public on the large screen, it has always had its own observations and thoughts. In Liu Peng's view, the large screen can not only present a richer and more impactful visual experience, but also allow for multi-person collaboration, which is impossible with mobile terminals such as mobile phones.

"Mobile phones are more convenient and interactive than TVs, but their visual presentation is too simple, so the real future of large screens lies in becoming an extension of mobile phones and in strong visual presentation interactions. Large screens can no longer be seen as a channel for receiving information, but in the future they will be combined with mobile phones to become an interactive device, which is also a huge entry point for large screen marketing."

In his opinion, if you want to realize the commercial value of large bottles, you can't do without the assistance of mobile phones, so in terms of marketing, you have to connect large screens with mobile phones. Only in this way can the huge advantages of large-screen products be brought into play and help large-screen products rise again.
