BYD Auto: BYD D9 sales reached 10,526 units in April 2023, firmly ranking first in sales of new energy luxury MPVs above RMB 300,000

According to official data from BYD Auto, in April this year, the sales volume of BYD D9 reached 10,526 units, exceeding 10,000 again, and has been the "No. 1 in sales of new energy luxury MPVs above 300,000 yuan" for four consecutive months. Recently, Zhao Changjiang, general manager of BYD Sales Division, said that the new orders for BYD D9 this month should reach 13,000-15,000 units, and the new orders for N7 will reach 6,000+, with 30,000 orders before the launch. This year, the BYD brand has the opportunity to achieve a monthly sales volume of over 20,000.

Among the users who have increased their purchase of BYD D9, users from brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi accounted for 50%.

BYD D9 adopts the π-Motion design language and comes in five colors: Morning Gold, Bright White, Elegant Blue, Deep Gray, and Midnight Black.

In terms of size, the vehicle has a length, width and height of 5250/1960/1920mm and a wheelbase of 3110mm. It is positioned as a medium-to-large luxury MPV.

In terms of power, the power system of the BYD D9 EV version is built on BYD's e-platform 3.0, with a CLTC operating range of more than 600km and four-wheel drive models available.

The DM-i model is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine dedicated to Xiaoyun plug-in hybrid. The two-wheel drive version has two NEDC ranges of 945km and 1040km, and the fuel consumption is as low as 5.9L per 100km. The other two four-wheel drive models have a NEDC range of 970km and a fuel consumption of 6.7L per 100km.
