Monthly sales of new energy vehicles hit a record high, and overseas sales exceeded last year's total sales. In November, SAIC sold 515,000 vehicles

(Shanghai, December 6, 2023) Today, SAIC Motor released a production and sales report. Driven by the "new three horses" of independent brands, new energy, and overseas business, SAIC sold 515,000 vehicles in November, a record high this year, achieving both year-on-year and month-on-month growth, and continuing to maintain its leading position in the industry. Among them, independent brands sold 306,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%, accounting for 59% of the total sales; new energy vehicle sales were 151,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 16%, a record high; overseas market sales were 118,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 6%, continuing to lead among Chinese automobile companies.

Monthly sales of new energy vehicles hit a record high. From January to November this year, SAIC's sales of new energy vehicles reached 904,000 units, ranking second among Chinese automakers. Among them, SAIC sold 151,000 new energy vehicles in November, a record high, and achieved a month-on-month increase of 44.9% driven by the launch of a large number of new products: Zhiji LS6 sold 8,158 units, a surge of 125% month-on-month, becoming the monthly sales champion of "medium and large pure electric SUVs", and its sales in December are expected to "step over" the 10,000-unit mark; the 2024 Feifan R7 has been on the market for two weeks, and the large orders have exceeded 10,000 units; SAIC Passenger Vehicles (including overseas bases) sold 32,000 new energy vehicles, maintaining both year-on-year and month-on-month growth, and the orders for the newly launched Roewe D7 and MG Cyberster have grown rapidly; SAIC Volkswagen sold nearly 20,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 105.3%, and the ID. family delivered 15,600 vehicles in a single month, far ahead of the joint venture pure electric camp; SAIC General Motors sold 15,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 159.8%, and the 2024 Buick Velite 6 had terminal deliveries of more than 10,000 in a single month, and Buick ELECTRA The E5 Pioneer Edition has started delivery at the end of the month; Wuling Bingo's monthly sales volume is nearly 35,000 units, and Wuling Starlight's pre-sale orders exceed 8,000 units.

Cumulative overseas sales "exceeded last year's full year". From January to November this year, SAIC's overseas sales reached 1.067 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%, which has exceeded last year's full year, and the sales of independent brands accounted for more than 90%, maintaining the lead among Chinese automobile companies. Among them, SAIC sold 118,000 vehicles in overseas markets in November, setting a new high for the year. "The first global car of the Chinese" MG4 EV has successfully landed in more than 80 countries on six continents around the world, with overseas sales exceeding 10,000 every month. In November, it won the top Australian automobile award-"Carsales Model of the Year", becoming the first Chinese electric car to win the "British, French, German and Australian Model of the Year Grand Slam". In Europe, SAIC MG brand sold more than 220,000 vehicles in the first 11 months of this year, doubling year-on-year. According to statistics from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), SAIC has historically entered the top 10 monthly sales ranking of automakers in the European automobile market. This year, SAIC will continue to accelerate and sprint towards the annual sales target of 1.2 million vehicles in overseas markets.
