New Android vulnerability exposed: secretly taking photos and uploading

Following the multiple vulnerabilities in iOS7.1.1, a new vulnerability was recently discovered in the Android system, which can take photos and upload them using the device's built-in camera without the user knowing. Sidor, the discoverer of the vulnerability, said that although he had found the function of secretly taking photos in a large number of software on Google Play, each of them would display the corresponding operation content on the screen. However, the new vulnerability he discovered this time is completely different. It can complete a series of operations such as taking photos and uploading silently. Sidor said that he only cracked a very simple vulnerability to complete all the above mentioned operations. He replaced the original preview image with a pixel prompt. In general, people are basically unlikely to notice this pixel prompt. The most frightening thing is that the pixel prompt will never appear on the Nexus 5 screen, and even if the Android phone is in a black screen state, the camera can still operate normally. Sidor has reported this problem to the Android security team, hoping that Android can fix this vulnerability as soon as possible and protect the privacy of users.
