Apple launched five new MacBook Pro Retina models yesterday, including three 13-inch and two 15-inch models. Now the performance scores of the new 15-inch low-end models have appeared in the Geekbench database. The performance scores of the entry-level 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro show that due to the increase in memory to 16GB, the new machine has an 8% performance improvement over the entry-level MacBook Pro in 2013, and only a 2% drop in performance over the mid-end model in 2013.
