Industry as a whole

• In July 2023, the industry updated a total of 311 functions, which was basically the same as last month. The most obvious increase this month was in intelligent driving assistance functions, which doubled from last month.

New power brand

• The new forces updated a total of 152 items, which is a decrease compared to last month. Although many new force brands pushed OTA upgrades this month, only Xiaopeng pushed a major version upgrade.

Own brand

• Domestic brands updated 139 items in total, an increase from last month. Among them, the increase in cabin functions was the largest, covering seats, steering wheels, audio and other functions.

Joint venture & luxury brands

• Among the joint venture and luxury brands this month, only Honda and Lotus pushed upgrades. This is the second time Lotus has pushed an upgrade since its listing, while Honda has pushed related upgrades for multiple models due to the wide coverage of HONDA CONNECT 3.0.

OTA Operation Details-Xiaopeng

• Xiaopeng conducted a topic interaction in the APP community regarding this OTA. The topic introduction included detailed guidance information such as the introduction of the OTA content (pictures, text + video), references to the creative direction, and display of the community’s featured posts. It also provided prizes that young people are interested in, such as massagers and tea vouchers.

OTA Operation Details-Ideal

• This is a minor version upgrade. The ideal operation activity is regular topic interaction. Users can submit registration information on the event introduction page and join the WeChat group of this event through the WeChat group QR code. The operation students will provide guidance on posting in the group.

OTA Operation Details-Deep Blue

• Shenlan did not operate this OTA on the mobile APP. Instead, it operated it on the official WeChat public account, explaining the OTA functions in the form of pictures and texts, catering to the current trend that people no longer read long paragraphs of text. At the same time, a test drive mini program and the official APP download QR code were attached at the bottom of the tweet to drive traffic to the APP.
