China Automobile Dealers Association: Analysis of vehicle data for the first week of September 2023

In the first week of September 2023, there were 12,825 vehicles tested based on national standards in the statistics reported for "road" certification, an increase of about 1% from the previous week. Among them, 11,282 vehicles met the "road" certification standards, accounting for about 88%, and 7,501 vehicles met the group standards, accounting for about 57%. The overall vehicle condition quality has improved compared with last week.

Judging from the uploaded vehicle mileage data, among the data uploaded this week, the data of "almost new cars" with a mileage of 10,000-30,000 kilometers decreased by 1% compared with last week, the data of "relatively new cars" with a mileage of 30,000-50,000 kilometers increased by 2%, the data of "cost-effective" vehicles with a mileage of 50,000-100,000 kilometers decreased by 1% compared with last week, and the data of vehicles with a mileage of more than 100,000 kilometers remained the same as last week.

Judging from the regional reports this week, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Liaoning have seen significant growth compared to last week, while the rest of the regions have all seen some improvement compared to last month.
