Wi-Fi speed test: iPhone 6 is inferior to Samsung S6

Now, foreign netizens have brought a new video. This time the test project is Wi-Fi speed. The objects are Samsung and Apple's flagship S6 and iPhone 6.

As can be seen from the video, when all four mobile phones were connected to the same Wi-Fi hotspot, the SpeedTest application, which everyone is very familiar with, was used to test the speed. After two attempts, the upload speed of the S6 edge was 169.18 and 153.34Mbps, and the download speed was 185.67 and 181.09Mbps, while the upload speed of the control group iPhone 6 Plus was 125.55 and 122.48Mbps, and the download speed was 102.67 and 104.74Mbps. After multiple comparisons, it was found that the S6 edge performed the best among the four models.

In fact, there have always been complaints about the Wi-Fi of the iPhone 6 series. Some netizens pointed out that this may be because the iPhone is still using the earlier Broadcom single-stream chip, while Samsung has been using dual-stream chips since the S5, so the performance is much better.

But such results are for reference only. After all, many consumers believe that it is enough to have enough, and China does not have such a fast speed.
