Mobile Wi-Fi speed test: Huawei Mate 8 vs. Samsung Note 5

According to Huawei, the new flagship Mate 8 is currently in short supply, and the goal is to achieve sales of tens of millions of units. For such a "most powerful domestic machine", as more and more consumers get their hands on it, detailed tests in various aspects have also been launched. Recently, Benchlife focused on the Wi-Fi connection speed, but as far as their test is concerned, the performance of Mate 8 is somewhat disappointing. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Sony Z2 participated in this test, and the wireless router used was ASUS RT-AC68U . In particular, ASUS RT-AC68U is an enterprise-level high-end router with a maximum transmission speed of 1900Mbps and dual-band support. Under 2.4G, the Note 5 measured a speed of 192Mbps, and the Mate 8 was 96Mbps; under 5G, the Note 5 rushed to 866Mbps, and the Mate 8 still lagged behind, with a value of 390Mbps. Taiwanese media specifically pointed out that the Sony Z2 (Snapdragon 801) released in March last year could also reach 433Mbps under 5G. Of course, in terms of the current network environment, the Mate 8 is definitely at the upper level and fully matches , but tests often compare extreme performance and examine the overall strength of the SoC, especially for a processor like the Kirin 950, which is a king in terms of running scores.
