According to the latest news, Huawei Honor will release Honor 5C on April 28, and one of its highlights is that it is equipped with Kirin 650 processor. What is this CPU like?

Now, the benchmark website Geekbench has revealed the results of Kirin 650. From the data, its chip model is hi6250, with a main frequency of 1.7GHz and eight cores. The single-core and multi-core benchmark scores are 883 and 3781 respectively. Its multi-core performance seems to be better than MediaTek P10 . As for the complete parameters of Kirin 650, the latest news shows that it uses an eight-core A53 (4×1.7GHz+4×2.0GHz) architecture, based on a 16nm process technology, and a Mali880MP2 GPU, supporting LTE Cat.6 technology.

It is not clear whether Kirin 650 has full network function. If the P9 Youth Edition released earlier is not counted, then Honor 5C should be the first mobile phone in China equipped with Kirin 650 processor.
