The latest data from market research firm TrendForce shows that in the third quarter of 2024, TSMC continued to lead the global foundry market with a market share of 64.9%, and continued to widen the gap of 9.3% with the second place Samsung. This is the first time that Samsung has fallen below 10% since TrendForce began researching market data.
