Angry Birds announces phasing out Windows Phone: no more updates
Windows Phone, Android and iOS are generally recognized as the three major platforms for mobile devices. However, with Paypal, CNN and Amazon withdrawing from Windows Phone stores, the presence of the Windows Phone platform has disappeared, and even game companies have abandoned it. Rovio, which owns the Angry Birds game, confirmed that its classic game Angry Birds will no longer support devices running Microsoft operating systems, and will only be updated on Android and iOS platforms in the future .
An email sent by Rovio to its employees Rovio sent an email to its employees, saying, "Rovio games will no longer be available on Windows Phone. The only devices we support now are Android and iOS. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you ." In addition to Microsoft being "abandoned" on the mobile side, even the PC side is not immune. Rovio also announced that it will cancel the PC versions of "Angry Birds" and "Bad Piggy Bank".
