In 2024, Volkswagen's share of the German market was 19.1%, making it the market leader again, with a market share of 16.3% in the BEV field, a year-on-year increase of 2.8 percentage points. In the European, South American and North American markets, Volkswagen delivered 1.2545 million, 479,400 and 592,300 vehicles respectively, with year-on-year changes of -1.7%, +21.1% and +18.4% respectively. In 2024, Volkswagen's SUV products had strong demand, accounting for 47% of total deliveries, an increase of 1.4 percentage points year-on-year.
