On November 2, the BAIC New Energy Artificial Intelligence Technology Day and the BAIC New Energy·Pony.ai cooperation signing ceremony were held in China Blue Valley. Zhang Guofu, general manager of BAIC New Energy, and Zhang Ning, general manager of Pony.ai's Robotaxi business, formally signed a technical cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. The two parties will cooperate in the development of fully unmanned Robotaxi models based on the Alpha T5 model of the Polar Fox and the seventh-generation autonomous driving software and hardware system solutions of Pony.ai, complete and launch the first batch of Alpha T5 Robotaxi models in 2025, and promote them in the domestic market.
