New Bug Exposed in iOS 10.2: Say Goodbye to the Era of CDs?

According to a report by Cult of Mac, iOS 10.2 does not allow users to play some videos that were obtained from DVDs or other sources and then loaded into iTunes. At present, it is not clear whether this is a bug in iOS 10.2 or a conscious move by Apple.

Copying movies from DVD to iPhone or iPad is not a difficult task. We just need to put the DVD into Mac, copy the video to the hard drive, import it into iTunes, and finally sync it to iOS device.

However, Apple replaced the Video app with the TV app in iOS 10.2, and the former doesn't seem to like these video content obtained from other sources. Many users in the Apple support community forum are complaining that they can no longer watch their favorite movies and TV shows in this way.

Some users said that adding the TV Widget in the Notification Center can make the video content obtained from other sources appear in the TV application, which also shows that this is not intentional by Apple, but a bug in the iOS 10.2 system.

It’s worth mentioning that this solution doesn’t seem to work for all users. If it doesn’t work, the only thing you can do is wait for Apple to fix the problem.
