"Hyper High-Speed Rail" prototype test was successful and looks sci-fi

Although airplanes can transport passengers to their destinations quickly, a group of scientists would like to achieve ultra-high-speed transportation that is "down to earth".

SpaceX and Hyperloop have always been advocates of super high-speed rail, and now their efforts are rewarded.

Hyperloop successfully tested a prototype of its hyperloop in a vacuum tube track in California last weekend.

There are three prototypes participating in the test, from Delft University of Technology, Technical University of Munich and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. These solutions are all winners of the world's first Hyperloop design competition held in January last year.

In the end, the Hyperloop from TU Delft received the highest score and won the Design and Architecture Award, while the Hyperloop from MIT ranked third overall and won the Safety and Reliability Award.

According to previous news, the world's first commercially operated super high-speed rail is expected to be built in the Middle East, but it will not be used to transport people, but for ultra-high-speed cargo transportation between ports.

As a winner of Toutiao's Qingyun Plan and Baijiahao's Bai+ Plan, the 2019 Baidu Digital Author of the Year, the Baijiahao's Most Popular Author in the Technology Field, the 2019 Sogou Technology and Culture Author, and the 2021 Baijiahao Quarterly Influential Creator, he has won many awards, including the 2013 Sohu Best Industry Media Person, the 2015 China New Media Entrepreneurship Competition Beijing Third Place, the 2015 Guangmang Experience Award, the 2015 China New Media Entrepreneurship Competition Finals Third Place, and the 2018 Baidu Dynamic Annual Powerful Celebrity.
