Windows 10 update infinite "initialization": the solution is here

Microsoft has just pushed out the Windows 10 Build 15031 preview system, which brings new features and eliminates a large number of known bugs.

However, just like all the preview versions, 15031 is not perfect and still has some problems, big or small.

The following is a summary of important known bugs:

- When trying to download the 15031 version update, users may encounter an infinite stuck on "Initializing" or the download progress indicator always shows "0%".

Don't panic at this point, this is just a system error, all you need to do is wait. The system will start the installation after the download is complete.

- The Spectrum.exe service may intermittently fail, causing problems such as increased hard disk usage, computer "silence", and application software stopping responding.

All you need to do at this point is to force stop the Spectrum.exe service, delete C\ProgramData\Microsoft\Spectrum\PersistedSpatialAnchors, and then restart your computer.

- The system crashes when accessing Settings - Devices, making it impossible to pair Bluetooth devices.

- Some games will minimize to the taskbar immediately after launching. In this case, you can manually restore the window.

- The Edge browser's F12 tool will intermittently crash, hang, or fail to input operations.

- The Edge browser "Inspect Element" and "View Source" options do not launch correctly to the DOM Explorer and Debugger.

- The action center may appear blank or transparent. To fix this, you can move the taskbar to another part of the screen.
