CATL financial report: CATL's revenue for the full year of 2024 is 362.012 billion yuan, down 9.70% year-on-year

According to recent news, CATL released its 2024 and Q4 financial report.

Data shows that in 2024, CATL's annual revenue will be 362.012 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.70%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies will be 50.745 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.01%.

Based on this simple calculation, CATL made a net profit of 138 million yuan every day last year, and its profitability surpassed all domestic automakers.

In terms of battery production and sales, CATL will achieve lithium-ion battery sales of 475GWh in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 21.79%. Among them, the sales of power battery systems will be 381GWh, a year-on-year increase of 18.85%; the sales of energy storage battery systems will be 93GWh, a year-on-year increase of 34.32%.

In addition, CATL also stated that the company plans to pay a cash dividend of 45.53 yuan (including tax) per 10 shares to all shareholders.

In addition, the company and its holding subsidiaries intend to use no more than 40 billion yuan of their own idle funds to purchase low-risk financial products with high security, good liquidity and an investment period of no more than 12 months.

It is understood that CATL has been the "industry leader" in the global battery industry for many consecutive years. According to data from SNE Research, CATL's power battery installed capacity last year reached 339.3GWh, a year-on-year increase of 31.7%. Its global market share climbed to 37.9%, and it has topped the global list for eight consecutive years.
