Lenovo launches P90, the world's first Intel 64-bit quad-core mobile phone

At CES 2015, Lenovo released the first mobile phone equipped with Intel's 64-bit quad-core processor Atom Z3560 - P90. Not only does it use Intel's processor, but it also comes with its LTE-A baseband.

It is quite unique among the smartphones powered by Snapdragon and MediaTek.

Atom Z3560 is a member of Intel's latest 22nm process smartphone platform Moorefield family, with quad-core and quad-thread, main frequency of 1.8GHz, and integrated GPU PowerVR G6430 533MHz.

The P90 uses a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, 2GB of memory, 32GB of storage, and provides a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera (supports optical image stabilization and has dual LED flash). It uses the Intel XMM 7260 baseband (five-mode, dual 4G, and supports LTE Cat.6), which theoretically supports 300Mbps download speed. In addition, the phone is also equipped with a 4000mAh large-capacity battery.

The phone's design has a distinct Lenovo family style, but overall it's pretty standard without much of a highlight. According to official information, the phone is priced at $369 (about RMB 2,295) and is available in three colors: pearl white, agate black, and magma red. It was officially launched in February this year.
