Is it good or bad? The new Office 2016

Microsoft pointed out at the Windows 10 launch event on Wednesday that a touch version of Office will be available. On Thursday morning, Microsoft officially announced that the new version will be called Office 2016 and released relevant screenshots (below). The new version is expected to be released in the second half of this year.

The last three versions of Office software were released three years apart, namely Office 2007, Office 2010 and Office 2013. Microsoft said that it will release more information about Office 2016 in the next few months, and said that although Office 2016 is a touch version, it "will still be the best computer office software that you are familiar with using a keyboard and mouse."

Microsoft did not reveal how the new features are planned. Although some screenshots and internal information have been leaked since September last year, Office 2016 is still a mystery to the outside world. The Windows 10 version of Office software will also be released, and Microsoft will provide a preview version in the next few weeks. These software will be pre-installed on mobile phones and tablets running Windows 10, and other devices can be downloaded from the Windows Store.
