Android 5.1 is not available

Android 5.0 is the latest version released by Google in 2014. Before that, Google would only release 2 or more new versions of Android in a year. In 2015, Google seems to be resuming this tradition. In recent years, Google has mostly released new versions of Android in June or July, but in 2015, Google will speed up. In fact, Android 5.1 has been released and it is pre-installed in the Androi One smartphone for the Indonesian market.

The only place where you can find Android 5.1 is on the Android One smartphone introduction page on the Google Android official website in Indonesia. The first batch of Indonesian smartphones to adopt Android 5.1 are Evercross One X, Mito Impact and Nexian Journey. Most of us haven't even heard of these 3 smartphone brands.

Although Google has not yet revealed its plans for Android 5.1 Lollipop, it should be adapted to Nexus smartphones and tablets at the right time and the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) code should be released.
