Weird open source component: Play the "Brick Breaker" game in the pull-down refresh

That’s right, now you can play Breakout while you wait for app content to load!

Since the invention of the pull-down-to-refresh interaction method, it has become a standard feature of almost every App, but now it tends to be broken - what if you can play games in the drop-down box?

When developer Dominik Hauser was developing an iOS App, he suddenly had an idea one day. He thought, putting a loading prompt in the pull-to-refresh drop-down box is too monotonous, can't we play something else? So he moved the "Breakout" game into the drop-down box, and from then on we can play games in the pull-to-refresh, the effect is as follows:

This project is open source and written in Swift. The mini-game part is done using SpriteKit. You can find its source code on Github.

The project is still in beta, and the author plans to add levels and more content to it later. The installation and use of this component are very simple. After downloading the source code, add BreakOutToRefreshView.swift to your project, and then follow the instructions on the Github homepage. It should be noted that this project has been upgraded to Swift 1.2, and the previous version is under the tag "Swift1_1".

Dominik also said that in fact, you can not only play the "Breakout" game in the pull-down refresh, but other small games can also be moved on, as long as you can come up with a suitable way to play, such as playing Flappy Bird in the pull-down refresh, which is really interesting to think about~
