With the popularity of the subscription system, more and more apps or games on the App Store are gradually shifting from a buyout system to a subscription system in order to seek higher profits. Apple is also working hard to continuously improve the user experience when using subscription services, such as providing a one-week free trial, pop-up windows reminding users that the subscription service has not expired when deleting the app, etc. Recently, Apple added a small feature to the App Store that allows users to choose whether to receive a "renewal receipt." In the past, when a subscription service expires and a new round of charges begins and deductions occur, Apple will send receipts to the user's email or mobile phone, but for some services that only provide monthly subscriptions, monthly reminders are a nuisance to some users. For example, I subscribe to Apple Music and iCloud, but both services only provide monthly subscriptions, and I also have long-term needs, so receipt reminders when deducting fees every month are unnecessary. Now, you can find this new little feature in "App Store > Profile > Subscriptions" and choose to turn it off or on (on by default). |
