It was previously reported that the Smartisan smartphone will be released on August 10. Now, as the release date approaches, real spy photos of the new Smartisan smartphone have been exposed on the Internet again, showing that the smartphone does use a virtual key design, and the overall shape is consistent with the Smartisan smartphone. At the same time, according to an encrypted video file uploaded by a suspected Smartisan Technology insider, it is confirmed that the future Smartisan smartphone may be named Smartisan U1.

Real machine exposure

Judging from a set of real spy photos of the white version of the Hammer phone exposed by netizens this time, the phone is no different from the photos registered with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that we have seen before. The biggest feature is the cancellation of the physical buttons and the use of virtual buttons. At the same time, the overall design of the phone is not much different from the Hammer phone T1, but the material of the back cover is changed to plastic. The simple shape looks slightly similar to the Sony Xperia Z series.

As for the relevant configuration of the Hammer phone, according to the information previously released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the phone will be equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p resolution touch screen, equipped with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, and a storage combination of 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel front lens and a 13-megapixel main camera and LED flash. It supports 2G/3G/4G networks of China Mobile and China Unicom, and provides dual-SIM dual-standby function.

Also called Smartisan U1

It is worth mentioning that since Luo Yonghao has previously stated that the new Smartisan phone will not be named "Little Hammer", the future official name of the phone has naturally attracted much attention. According to the latest news from Weibo, from the end of June to the beginning of July this year, a Youku user named Otagansta uploaded 20 high-definition encrypted videos (now all deleted), and the file names included words such as SMARTISAN_T2 and SMARTISAN_U1. Therefore, the outside world speculates that the account should be owned by a Smartisan Technology staff member, and if nothing unexpected happens, Smartisan U1 should be the official name of the future Little Hammer phone.

As for the Smartisan_T2 that will appear at the same time, it will undoubtedly be the second generation of the Hammer smartphone. However, according to Luo Yonghao's Weibo post, "There are surprises this time (the press conference), at least for young people and students, but there is no T2. T2 desperately challenged and broke through a major problem in mobile phone engineering. It is very, very difficult to make... In short, T2 will have to wait." Therefore, only the Hammer U1 will be on display at the Hammer Technology's summer press conference, and the Hammer T2 smartphone may have to wait until the third quarter.

Or push low-profile version

According to previous news from Weibo, the Hammer smartphone may be launched in two versions, one is the so-called low-end version, priced at 899 yuan, and the other is the standard version priced at around 1,500 yuan as mentioned by Luo Yonghao. In addition, Smartisan Technology may also launch the Smartisan OS 2.0 system at the same time, but the specific details are not yet clear.

At present, the Smartisan U1, commonly known as the "Little Hammer Phone", has passed the model approval and 3C certification, and obtained the network access license required for listing. At the same time, since it was previously rumored that the phone would be released on August 10, it is expected that Smartisan Technology should officially announce the release date in the next two days. Let's wait and see.
