After the press conference yesterday, Apple released the first iOS 9.1 beta to developers. Now, Apple has started to provide iOS 9.1 beta to public beta users. iOS 9.1 includes support for new features of iPad Pro, such as support for peripherals such as Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil. These two peripherals are designed specifically for iPad Pro.

iOS 9.1 also supports Unicode 8, including some new emoji expressions, such as unicorn face, popcorn, cheese cubes, turkey, hot dog, popcorn, etc. In the Settings app, the Siri interface provides instructions on how to use "Hey Siri" when the iPhone is plugged into a power source. For iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, "Hey Siri" can be activated even if the iPhone is not plugged into a power source. The official version of iOS 9.1 may wait until the iPad Pro is released in November.
