Google has renamed its annual "Bad Ads" report to "Better Ads." While the name has changed, the content remains the same.

According to statistics, in the past year, Google's system and its team of more than 1,000 people blocked a staggering 780 million "Bad Ads". In comparison, the number was 524 million in 2014 and 350 million in 2013. In the past year, about 25,000 app accounts were banned from carrying Google ads due to their violations.

Google said that overall it shut down more than 1.4 million advertising accounts from apps and sites worldwide last year.

Google's advertising chief Ridha Ramaswamy said the company would further limit the number of weight-loss ads and add protection against new malware.
