According to the latest news from the xda forum, the beta version of Xposed is now available for use with Android Oreo (8.0/8.1). Just install the latest Xposed installer (v3.1.4) and flash the new Framework Installer ZIP for your Android Oreo device (8.0 or 8.1).
Last October, the main author of the Xposed framework and XDA senior recognized developer "rovo89" released a new stable version of the Xposed framework that supports Android Nougat (7.0 / 7.1). Although this made some Android 7.0/7.1 users very happy, more users have turned to the newly released Android Oreo. Fortunately, rovo89 didn't make everyone wait too long this time, and Xposed Framework has now caught up with the latest Android version. This means that any newly released Android Oreo device (such as Sony Xperia XZ1 series or Huawei Mate 10 series) or any device that has been unofficially upgraded to Android Oreo can use the Xposed framework and its modules. However, since V3.1.4 is the first Xposed version for Android Oreo, it is still a Beta version, so there is still a certain chance of bugs. rovo89 said that this new version is very stable on its test machine (Google Pixel), but there have been several program crashes, but the impact is not significant, and these bugs will be resolved in subsequent updates. As the Xposed framework begins to support Android Oreo, Xposed modules have also accelerated the pace of supporting 8.0. Currently, the widely used GravityBox (Gravity Toolbox) can fully support Android Oreo. Interested users can flash the framework zip through a custom recovery (such as TWRP).
