On July 15, a large number of netizens posted on Weibo that their QQ accounts were frozen by Tencent for no reason. After multiple attempts through SMS and facial recognition, they still could not be unfrozen, and the manual customer service could not be contacted. Currently, the topic #QQFrozen# has topped the Weibo hot search list.

According to netizens’ feedback, many people’s accounts were blocked at the same time, and most of them were blocked due to illegal business practices. When seeking to unblock their accounts, Tencent customer service was unable to transfer them to a human operator.

The screenshot shows: "This account is suspected of illegal business operations (such as batch login, etc.) and has been temporarily frozen. Please go to the security center to check or manage funds."

One netizen said: "I was chatting with someone on my space when my QQ account was suddenly frozen. I tried various methods to unfreeze it, such as sending text messages and face recognition according to the prompts, but it didn't work, changing the password didn't work, and calling to consult didn't work. I tried for more than an hour and finally gave up."

At present, a large number of netizens have gathered under Tencent QQ official Weibo to post comments and questions, but the official has not yet responded.
