In 2017, Xiaomi and Google collaborated on an Android One product, A1, which is actually the overseas version of Xiaomi 5X.

However, this product is indeed the first Xiaomi product that does not have MIUI pre-installed, but integrates the native system according to Google's requirements. Therefore, the speed of its system iteration is also very fast.

While withdrawing the Android 8.0 update twice and pushing it for the third time, Xiaomi also announced a very powerful decision, which is to release the kernel source code.

With the source code, civilian developers can happily unlock all the hardware features of the phone and create various ROMs.

In terms of configuration, Xiaomi A1 uses a 5.5-inch 1080P display, is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, is equipped with 4GB of memory + 64GB of storage, has a rear 12-megapixel wide-angle + 12-megapixel telephoto lens, a front camera of 8 million pixels, and a battery capacity of 3080mAh.

Interested users and developers can go to GitHub to download it.
