XDA released a useful full-screen gesture app for Android: No ROOT required

With the addition of native gesture operation in Android P DP2, it can be foreseen that this system feature will be widely popularized in the future.

At present, domestic mobile phones are following up the fastest. MIUI, OnePlus Hydrogen OS, 360 OS, Color OS, Funtouch OS, etc. already have corresponding full-screen gesture solutions, which have generally received positive reviews from users.

Now, XDA’s great developers have also given away the Navigation Gestures APP, which can be used freely on all Android phones.

What makes it different from other full-screen gestures is that this one developed by XDA does not require ROOT permissions, forced immersive effects, and full-screen mode.

In terms of effects, after hiding, there is an indicative horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen similar to iPhone X/Color OS, which is used to trigger various gesture operations. Single tap, double tap, long press, up, down, left, right, etc. can all be customized, including home page, return, multitasking, voice assistant, advanced gestures also include adjacent task switching, pull down notification bar, turn on the power button, etc.

Of course, as a software produced by XDA, the personalized functions also include "horizontal bar" width, height, position definition, long press delay, vibration duration, etc.

Finally, I would like to emphasize two points. First, this APP only supports Android 8.1 and below. Second, make sure to turn off the full-screen gestures before uninstalling the APP.
