Here's why Siri is hard to use, and it's about to be solved

When many people talk about Siri, they often compare it with the voice assistants of Google and Amazon. Siri's intelligent performance is indeed not very good, but do you know why? It's not that Apple's technology is not good, nor is it that the foundation is not solid. Simply put, Siri is like a child with no one to teach him, but in the future, it may have a teacher.

Although all of Siri's functions rely on the Internet, when we make a request to it, all conversations are actually two-way encrypted. This means that when we ask Siri about today's weather, Siri will only give the answer and will not record the time, place, or who asked the question.

Simply put, questions asked on Siri will not be associated with the user's Apple ID, and all content is anonymous. Because these contents have high marketing value, once they fall into the hands of marketers, users may receive countless advertisements.

This will lead to a consequence. How do voice assistants grow? In fact, they need continuous training to a large extent, that is, machine learning. While Amazon and Google are frantically collecting user information and using this information, data and actual scenarios to continuously train voice assistants, Apple's Siri can only struggle because it simply does not have that much information and data for training.

Why do I have to say so much? Because at this year's WWDC, Apple may propose a preliminary plan to localize Siri, which means that Siri can be used even when the Internet is disconnected. Because the A series processors will support artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms in the future, this will make it possible for Siri to be trained using the built-in processor of the phone, which was unimaginable before because it requires a huge amount of computing power.

In this way, Siri can get enough training and the user's information will not be leaked (all based on local). At the same time, because Siri is trained individually for this user, it will be more personalized and understand you better. This will kill three birds with one stone. This will be Siri's chance to catch up with other voice assistants.
