Android Studio's official Android emulator was found to support Fuchsia's Zircon kernel. Fuchsia is a new operating system that Google is developing to replace Android. Instead of using the Linux kernel, it uses a microkernel called Zircon, which is designed to run on mobile phones and PCs.

It is not clear what Google's plans are for Fuchsia, but from the current signs, Google may abandon the Linux kernel in the future.
