Google Lens feature added to the Google APP on iOS

[[252266]]

In March this year, Google Lens was launched on the iOS platform through Google Photos. After the feature was launched on the Google app on iOS today, users no longer need to take photos and save them to the album before using the feature. Instead, they can use it directly through the camera viewfinder. There is a Lens icon at the top of the search bar of the Google APP, near the voice search.

At the time of the launch, users need to authorize the application to obtain camera permissions and agree to other relevant terms. In addition, there will be tutorials for "Scan Text" and "Smart Store". The former allows Google Lens to obtain text from images for analysis, including finding words, saving email addresses or making calls. At the same time, Lens can help find similar products, such as shoes or other clothing.

Google Lens has a very simple interface. Users can start analyzing by clicking on an object or text in the viewfinder. After highlighting the point of interest, the results will slide up from the bottom. In addition, other spaces on the page include turning on the flash to provide a brighter light environment, and opening the album to let Lens analyze existing images. The menu in the upper right corner allows users to send feedback.
