What’s new in iOS 13.4 beta 2?

Apple launched the second developer beta of iOS/iPadOS 13.4 in the early morning of February 20. In the first beta two weeks ago, new features such as Memoji expressions, iCloud folder sharing, keyboard shortcuts, CarKey, etc. were added. What new features are there in the second beta?

  • Apple TV adds multiple settings options: New playback and download options for cellular mode, you can choose low data or high definition mode according to your cellular plan, and you can also set the maximum data usage per hour;

  • The mail toolbar has been adjusted again: In the first beta version, Apple fine-tuned the arrangement of the mail toolbar and moved the "Delete" button to the left. In the latest beta version, the "Reply" button has been moved to the middle, and the right side has been replaced by the "Compose" button.

  • CarKey: A new CarKey API was added to iOS 13.4 beta 1, allowing users to unlock, lock, and start compatible cars using iPhone‌/Apple Watch; and in the second beta, a feature was added that allows users to share CarKey keys through the Messages app.
