iOS 13.5.5 code suggests Apple is developing a service package

According to foreign media reports, there are rumors that Apple is developing a service package that will offer multiple Apple services such as Apple TV+ and Apple Music for a fixed monthly fee. According to 9to5Mac, the code in iOS 13.5.5 seems to confirm this plan. "Bundle offer" and "bundle subscription" were found in the files of iOS 13.5.5, and these files were not in earlier versions of iOS.

The documents are said to be related to "Apple's own service subscription management system such as Apple News+."

Apple has been rumored to be preparing some kind of service package since 2018, and most rumors have suggested that the company is considering combining Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple News+ into this package.

Currently, Apple Music costs $9.99 per month, Apple TV+ costs $4.99 per month, and Apple News+ costs $9.99 per month, so the package may bring some discount prices after integrating them together.

Apple has been discussing plans to create a media content package with record companies since the end of 2019. However, at least one record company has expressed concerns about this, so it is unclear when Apple will be able to reach an agreement on the matter. According to a report by Bloomberg in November last year, the service could be launched as early as 2020.

In fact, at the end of last year, the company tried to launch a service package that provided Apple TV+ service for free to students who subscribed to Apple Music.
