WeChat can now send large files! HD videos will not be compressed, iOS already supports it

At noon on November 20, the Tencent WeChat team confirmed that the iOS version of WeChat already supports sending large files, and the Android version will be launched soon.

As for sending large files, WeChat has created a 10-second tutorial to teach you how to send uncompressed HD video files.

Simply put, WeChat users click the + sign on the right side of the dialog box, swipe right to find "File" and click it, select the mobile phone album at the top, and then they can choose the videos and pictures they want to send.

WeChat said that WeChat's file manager is the user's exclusive "file courier". Users can use it to send large files, and can also view all received and sent files in the "Files in Chat".

In the message board, WeChat clarified that users can not only select files in the chat, but also those in the mobile phone album.

PS: After testing, a user informed us that the current maximum file capacity limit is 200MB.

<<:  Why didn't anyone tell me that Android phones can actually connect to the Internet via wired internet?

>>:  WeChat officially responded to when to launch the "clean fans" function: the decision is left to the users and there will be no such function in the future
