WeChat 8.0 status update: 28 new statuses added, including "split" and "with baby"

Simply put, the number of statuses has increased to 28, which is more than the 22 when it was first launched in January, including "cracked", "daydreaming", "addicted to studying", "in a meeting", "taking care of children", "waving", "staying at home", "drinking milk tea", etc.

Of course, while adding, there are also subtractions. For example, the "WeChat 8.0", "depressed" and "dinner party" statuses have disappeared, and some statuses have changed their icons and words, such as "shopping" has become "shopping".

The current 28 WeChat statuses are:

Happy, broken, daydreaming, dazed, counting sheep, moving bricks, addicted to study, busy, slacking off, attending meetings, traveling, clocking in, eating, exercising, drinking coffee, drinking alcohol, drinking milk tea, shopping, taking care of kids, wandering, listening to music, chasing dramas, eating melons, playing games, watching live broadcasts, staying at home, sleeping, and other.

Users can add people by clicking “Status” under the avatar in the “Me” tab of WeChat.

Currently, the latest version of WeChat for Android is 8.0.0, and the latest version for iOS is 8.0.2.
