Today, Alipay has popularized the four new scams that often appear, emphasizing that if you encounter someone pretending to be an Alipay employee who privately asks you to "cancel your campus loan account", "change your identity information", or "refund the money to a reserve fund", do not believe it! In particular, do not pay or transfer money to strangers at will. If you encounter similar fraudulent behavior, you can first call the only customer service hotline 95188 to verify, or you can directly call the police! 1. “Canceling campus loans” scam In this type of scam, the scammers obtain a person's name, identity, mobile phone number, and alma mater information through illegal means, and then contact the person randomly using private phones or social accounts, often using the excuse of "canceling campus loan accounts" or "need to change identity information" to threaten the user that if they do not take action, their credit rating may be affected and they may have to pay high interest. In the end, the scammers often trick the victims into withdrawing the credit on the credit platform and transferring it to their personal accounts. The victims may borrow money from multiple platforms and then transfer the money. Once they are deceived, they are likely to suffer great losses. 2. “Refund of Reserve Funds” Scam In this type of scam, the scammers obtained some of the victim's personal information and logistics information through the black industry chain, and mainly took advantage of the victim's desire for a refund and his lack of understanding of the "reserve fund" to commit fraud. The "500 yuan" shown on the reserve fund page is the amount that can be borrowed, not the victim's assets, let alone the money transferred by the scammer. Legitimate e-commerce refunds are usually returned to the original payment channel of the consumer, and will not be refunded through the so-called "reserve fund" account. Anyone who claims to refund or transfer money to a reserve fund account is a scammer. After the victim is initially hooked, the scammer will ask the victim to add QQ, Tencent Meeting and other software, and further steal the user's password, verification code, etc. through screen sharing, and even ask the user to withdraw cash with Borrowed Money and then transfer the money to the scammer, causing greater losses. 3. "Huaji opening and credit limit increase" scam Some scammers claim that they can increase the credit limit of Huabei and Jiebei, or help users who were originally unable to open Huabei and Jiebei to open permissions. In fact, the opening and credit limit of Huabei and Jiebei are determined by a comprehensive assessment of your basic situation, credit level, usage, etc. No one can "help" you increase your credit limit. The best way to increase your credit limit is to maintain a good credit record and keep scientific and reasonable credit product usage habits. 4. “Fake customer service” scam Fake customer service scams are currently rampant. Scammers usually use "e-commerce order anomalies", "mistakenly set users as paid VIPs", "users suspected of money laundering" and other "hooks" related to the user's personal interests to attract the user's attention, and take advantage of the user's greed and nervousness to let down their guard, and trick the user into providing the transfer verification code. When the user's own money is not much, the scammers will also lure the user to borrow money on the lending platform for transfer. |
