Tencent customer service stated that due to QQ business adjustments, QQ numbers registered after June 17, 2016 no longer support binding to WeChat accounts. Please use QQ numbers registered before that time to bind.

In addition, the QQ number may be bound to another WeChat account, and you need to unbind the QQ number first. Or there is a risk of QQ being stolen. Users can change their QQ password and try to bind again after a while.

It is worth noting that the operation of binding a WeChat account to a QQ account also has requirements for WeChat, as follows:

1. WeChat accounts registered outside of mainland China do not support QQ binding at this time;

2. If you have recently changed the device to log in or changed the password, you cannot bind QQ for the time being. You can try to bind again after using it normally for a period of time;

3. WeChat is bound to the same QQ mailbox as QQ. WeChat does not currently support binding to the same mailbox as the bound QQ number. Please change to another QQ or unbind the QQ mailbox and try binding again.
