Tencent recently applied for a new patent to solve this problem.

According to information displayed by Tianyancha, on April 23, Tencent disclosed a patent called "One-way friend detection method, device, medium and computer equipment for social accounts."

From the patent abstract, we can understand that this patent mainly invents a method for detecting one-way friends of a social account, and also includes devices, media, and computer equipment.

Specifically, it is as follows: obtaining a one-way friend detection instruction triggered based on a social application interface, the one-way friend detection instruction including the account identifier of the detected social account; based on the one-way friend detection instruction, obtaining a one-way friend identifier determined according to a first address book of the detected social account and a second address book corresponding to each social account in the first address book; obtaining one-way friend information according to the one-way friend identifier; and displaying the one-way friend information in the social application interface.

The patent finally states that this method is simple to operate, does not require sending a large amount of redundant information, improves the efficiency of one-way friend detection, and reduces system consumption.

However, a patent is just a patent, and it will probably take a long time for Tencent to implement this function.

1. Transfer method

Open the chat interface with your friend and click on transfer. If you are no longer the friend of the other party, after entering the transfer amount, it will display "Please confirm your friendship with him (her)". This means that you have been deleted by him (her).

2. Check the circle of friends method

Click on your friend's Moments. If the content is displayed normally, or it shows "visible to friend only for three days", it proves that it has not been deleted.

If you think that many people may have deleted you, and the above two methods are too slow to verify one by one, you can use the "group chat" method.
