After 6 years, the first perfect jailbreak of iOS 14 is released: supports iPhone 12

Since the perfect jailbreak in the iOS 9 era, this achievement has never been achieved by hackers again until the great Linus Henze released Fugu14. Fugu14 supports devices with A12~A14 processor platforms running iOS 14.2~14.5.1 systems . The so-called perfect jailbreak means that even if the phone is restarted, the cracked status will not be lost.

The well-known jailbreak tool unc0ver has added support for Fugu14 in its latest version v7.0.0, but it should be noted that Fugu14 must be installed manually.

The current tutorial (Github) is somewhat difficult to operate. It requires a macOS environment to connect to a USB to deploy Fugu14, and the local machine also needs to have Xcode, ideviceinstaller, etc. installed.

In addition, Linus reminded that transitional modifications to the phone after jailbreaking may cause unexpected cyclic restarts, such as white apple, etc. In that case, DFU forced flashing is necessary to repair the brick.

At present, T9 dialing, call recording, battery percentage in the status bar, vibration for incoming and outgoing calls, hidden gesture white bar, etc. are still rigid needs for some Apple users, and jailbreaking has become the only way to achieve the above functions.
