Netflix apologizes for new film promotion, poster criticized for being too sexy!

Video streaming giant Netflix recently released a poster for its new film "Girls". Netizens complained that the girls on the poster were all minors, which was too sexy and inappropriate. Netflix subsequently apologized for this.

This new French film tells the story of 11-year-old Amy, who becomes obsessed with a free-spirited dance troupe and begins to defy her conservative family traditions. In the poster, four little girls are dancing twerking. Although the film does include scenes of them performing mature dances, using this as a promotional point for the poster sparked dissatisfaction among netizens. In contrast, the French theater poster highlights the theme of four little girls running happily.

In response, Netflix issued an apology letter, expressing its deep regrets for the inappropriate publicity, which does not represent the main content of this work, and we have updated the promotional image.
