Is it considered overdue if the credit card payment is made on the due date? Two points to note

Credit card payment is considered overdue on the due date

Repaying a credit card on the due date is generally not considered overdue, but there are two points that require special attention and may lead to overdue payments:

1. Deadline for repayment. The repayment deadline for most banks is not actually 23:59 that evening. For example, the repayment deadline for China Construction Bank is before 17:00; the repayment deadline for Bank of China is before 20:00. If you repay the loan beyond the due date, there is a risk of default.

2. The issue of repayment arrival time. Different credit card repayment methods have different arrival times. If problems occur during the repayment process, it may result in repayment failure or the arrival time may exceed the repayment deadline.

In the above two situations, users are reminded not to make repayments on the repayment deadline, and try to reserve time for repayment in advance. Most banks provide a grace period for repayments in order to avoid the above two situations.
